The Rotary Club of Zahlé-Békaa, in collaboration with Khoury General Hospital, organized a free medical day benefiting at least 200 patients with clinical examinations in all specialties, laboratory tests, and radiological imaging.
Club President Mrs. Kareen Sabbagh thanked the hospital’s wise management represented by Mr. George Nicolas Khoury, son of His Excellency Minister Nicolas Khoury, and all the medical and administrative staff for their cooperation in the outstanding success of this humanitarian day. She presented Mr. George Khoury with a token of gratitude.
This is not new to the management of Khoury General Hospital, as His Excellency Minister, the late Nicolas Khoury, was remembered for his love of serving all the people of Zahle and Bekaa, and for standing by them and opening the doors of this hospital since its establishment, making it a refuge for all Zahle evacuees and the only field hospital during the war.
A group of the finest doctors from Zahle and Bekaa, with high competence and a generous humanitarian spirit, participated in this campaign to stand by the people of Zahle in these difficult and costly living conditions. During the campaign, the club president and members thanked all the doctors and presented them with tokens of gratitude.
Special thanks are also extended to everyone who contributed to the success and organization of this day, to the Rotary Club of Heliopolis Al-Nuzha from Rotary District 2451-Egypt for their participation in this campaign, to Soins et santé company for providing free nutritional supplements to patients, and special thanks to Zahle TV for broadcasting this event live.
